Outlook cannot handle MSG files with the large number of recipients

I have encountered an error when trying to import some MSG’s into a new PST bu dragging them inside. The reported error is: “Error importing: 0x8004011B”. I believe the issue is that the messages have too many recipients, an example I checked had over 5000 CC recipients. I have seen this issue with 3^rd party conversion tools as well. Outlook itself can’t open a loose MSG with that many recipients, but if that same message is inside a PST i.e. just created it can open and display it normally.

Have anyone encountered this issue previously, and do you have any solutions or workarounds?

Yes, dude, the problem is that 32bit Outlook can't handle emails with huge amount of recipients, so you need to use the 64bit Outlook instead.

You should definitely switch over to 64bit Outlook. I`m really wondering why 32bit Outlook is still around, seeing as how modern OS are all 64bit nowadays anyway.
