How Do I Find the Server Settings so I can Connect My Outlook email address?

So, I am likely going to be using some sort of email client or app in order to check my outlook mail. But, I’m not 100% sure as to where I can find the settings to make that happen. Can someone give me some advice as to how I can do that and what sorts of things I need to do to keep my email secure?

Are you talking about Outlook.com (Outlook 365)? Thankfully, Microsoft has a whole page on this topic. But, in short, you’re going to need to use eas.outlook.com (or imap-mail.outlook.com for IMAP and pop-mail.outlook.com for POP based emails) and input the settings using that area to start with. It’s really simple – be sure that incoming ports are 993 (IMAP) or 995 (POP); outgoing is 587.
