Which version is safest?

Which Outlook version would say is the safest? Should I go for the newest version? Or more like older versions that are properly updated and bugfixed?

Hi there! Ask yourself why Microsoft company releasing Security Updates for Microsoft Office. Count the amount of security updates released for the old MS Outlook versions and the same for the latest versions. You'll see the difference. Outlook 2010 and 2013 versions work much better that previous. Plus Microsoft added 64-bit Outlook edition which works even better. Check this topic for example:
